Registration Fees
All listed registration fees below are in Singapore dollars, expressed to the nearest dollar.
They are inclusive of Singapore GST, and the fees chargeable may have 1 cent difference due to GST computation. We only accept payments by 3D Secure Visa/Mastercard.

The Conference Committee reserves the right to add additional functions and activities should sponsorship funding make them possible.
Author Registration Policy
Each paper accepted to the conference needs to be accompanied with a distinct author registration.
At least one author of each accepted Research Paper or Demonstration Paper is expected to register for either the Main Conference (3-Day) or the Passport Registration (5-Day) by the camera-ready deadline of December 19, 2022. Papers without a valid accompanying registration may be excluded from the proceedings.
At least one author of all submissions accepted to the single-day programs (Industry Day, Smart City Day, Tutorials, Workshops, Doctoral Consortium, WSDM Cup Day) is expected to register for the conference under Single Day (Day 1 or Day 5) or Passport Registration (5-Day).
One Passport Registration (5-Day) may cover up to one research/demo paper and one tutorial/workshop/industry day/smart city day/WSDM cup paper.
Note that the Virtual Participant registration type cannot be used for an author registration, meaning that it does not cover a paper (regardless of the paper type).
Eligibility for Special Rates
To be eligible for Student Registration rates, attendees must be enrolled students undertaking full-time study, and be able to provide evidence of that status if requested to do so.
To be eligible for Member/ACM Registration rates, attendees must be current members of ACM, or of one of SIGIR, SIGKDD, SIGMOD, or SIGWEB, and be able to provide evidence of that status if requested to do so.
SIGIR and NSF Travel Award winners may register for free. If you plan to apply for one of these awards, please do not register the conference before you receive the grant notification.
One representative of top-3 teams in each of WSDM Cup Challenges and Smart City Ideation Challenge may register for free.
The Conference Committee reserves the right to revoke ineligible registrations.
Cancelation Policy
Author registrations are non-refundable. The other types of registrations are cancellable until February 12, 2023 — we will reimburse 50% of the registration fees. No refunds will be granted after February 12, 2023. Requests must be submitted in writing to wsdmsingapore@smu.edu.sg. Refunds will only be processed after the conference.
