In the pandemic situation, this is a fantastic opportunity to get to know our conference organizers and participants, access conference materials and talks for free, make an impact on our research community, and have some fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WSDM (pronounced &#8220;wisdom&#8221;) is one of the premier conferences on web-inspired research involving search and data mining. The 15th ACM International WSDM Conference will take place online, between <strong>Feb 21-25, 2022<\/strong>. WSDM is a highly selective conference that includes invited talks, as well as refereed full papers. We will not have a successful event, if without your help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your acts of kindness are small, but their impacts will be large. If you have some time during <strong>Feb 1- 20 <\/strong>to help with conference preparation (e.g.video length check, populating program contents including videos to Whova) or during&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Feb 21 &#8211; 25<\/strong> to help with online conference logistics, please email us with the following information to <a href=\"mailto:wsdm22-volunteer@gmail.com\">wsdm22volunteer@gmail.com<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Name:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Institution:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Student Type and Level: e.g. 1st year master student<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contact email address:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contact phone number:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Available days and number of hours between Feb 1-20: e.g. Feb 1 (4 hr), Feb 7 (8hr)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Available days and number of hours between Feb 21-25:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What kinds of experiences do you have with Whova and Zoom operations (Optional):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CV\/resume (Optional):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications should be submitted by the end of <strong>Jan 27th,<\/strong> 2022 for being considered. Depending on the demands, late applications may continue to be accepted until Feb 16th, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteers will be selected based on their time availability by our volunteer leaders. Selected volunteers will be trained accordingly.
