CIC has inside a unique and natural wonder “El Cenote”<\/strong>, an underwater river that according to the ancient Mayans linked them to the underworld, today it is considered an emblematic element of the city’s dedication and commitment to sustainable development.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e9rida, the capital of the Yucat\u00e1n state in Mexico, is a charming city full of history and culture. Getting There: <\/strong>Merida International Airport (MID) serves as the main gateway to the city.\u00a0 You can reach the conference venue and accommodations via taxi, Uber, or shuttle service.\u00a0 Public transportation is also available from the airport to the City Center and Hotel District by Va y Ven<\/a> public transportation service.\u00a0 Buy a vayven<\/a> card at the ADO desktop to take the bus for US$2.50

Safety<\/strong>: M\u00e9rida is considered one of the safest cities in Mexico<\/a>. Its crime levels are the lowest in the country, making it a reliable destination for conference participants.

Weather<\/strong>: March is a popular month in M\u00e9rida due to the pleasant weather. Daytime temperatures in M\u00e9rida tend to range from 25\u00b0C to 33\u00b0C (77\u00b0F to 91\u00b0F). It can get quite warm during the day, so light and breathable clothing is advisable. However, evenings can be cooler, so it’s a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweater. However Merida has a tropical climate, so dress comfortably and pack sunscreen.

Transportation<\/strong>:
Merida is a walkable city. The Centro Internacional de Congresos<\/a> and most of the tourist attractions are within walking distance from the City center. The city is easily visited on foot, and taxis, Ubers and local buses are readily available for longer journey.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
