The Demonstrations Track at WSDM 2025 provides a unique opportunity for researchers and practitioners to showcase their latest research prototypes and operational systems. We invite submissions that present novel implementations and\n applications in the field of web search and data mining. Demonstrations enable presenters to engage directly with leading members of the research community, exchange insights gained from practical implementations, and receive feedback\n from expert users and industry practitioners.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

What is a good demo paper?<\/h3>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
\n \n \n
\n

A good demo paper submission should be of interest to active researchers in web search and data mining highlighting its relevance and innovation. The submission should effectively describe and demonstrate either a novel solution to\n an existing or emerging problem, substantiated by a task analysis, or case study. Submissions must be based on implemented and tested systems within the fields of web search and data mining. Papers will undergo peer review focusing\n on originality, significance, quality of implementation, and clarity of presentation.<\/p>\n

Demonstration submissions are welcome in any of the areas related to the main topics in WSDM 2025 research track \u2013\n call for the main track.<\/a>\n <\/p>\n

Demos will be onsite and therefore, at least one author of each demonstration should be prepared to present the demonstration in person.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Submission Guidelines<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Submissions of demonstration papers must be in English and in PDF format according to the ACM guidelines and style files to fit within 4 pages including any diagrams, appendices, and references. Submissions that are over the 4-page\n limit and incomplete submissions will be rejected without review. Unlike regular paper submissions in WSDM, authors of demonstration submissions are single-blind or NOT expected to conceal their identity from reviewers.<\/p>\n

Papers should be submitted electronically via the CMT WSDM2025 demo paper submission site<\/strong> (\n https:\/\/cmt3.research.microsoft.com\/User\/Login?ReturnUrl=%2FWSDM2025<\/a>). At least one author of each accepted demonstration must register and attend the conference.<\/p>\n

Demo papers will be published as part of the WSDM 2025 proceedings. Therefore, they must be considered \u201carchival\u201d, and must not have been published or be under consideration for publication at a different venue with archival proceedings.\n Authors should carefully go through ACM\u2019s authorship policy before submitting a paper.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Accepted papers will require a further revision to meet the requirements and page limits of the camera-ready format required by ACM. Instructions for the preparation of the camera-ready versions of the papers will be provided after\n acceptance.<\/p>\n

All accepted papers will be published by ACM and will be available via the ACM Digital Library.
