Venue (Conference Center)

WSDM 2016 will be held at the Mission Bay Conference Center (http://www.acc-missionbayconferencecenter.com/), located in the heart of San Francisco.

Getting to the Conference Venue

If you're at the recommended hotel (The Hyatt Regency, San Francisco), we have a privately chartered bus service that will run regularly throughout the day to transport you directly from the hotel to the conference venue and back (Click here to see the shuttle schedule). Additionally, to supplement the times at which the shuttle runs, there are public transportation options. From the recommended hotel, the KT line from the Metro Embarcadero Station downtown will get you to the UCSF Mission Bay Station on 3rd Street opposite the campus.

Additional information on public transit to the Mission Bay Conference Center is available here: http://www.acc-missionbayconferencecenter.com/media/15916/MBCC_public_transportation.pdf

If you drive, see parking instructions here: http://www.acc-missionbayconferencecenter.com/visiting-mbcc/parking-and-public-transportation.aspx Allow additional time for traffic if you're driving during the morning or evening peak periods.

Recommended Hotel / Conference Banquet Site

The recommended hotel and conference banquet site is the Hyatt Regency San Francisco at the Embarcadero Center (http://sanfranciscoregency.hyatt.com/). There will be privately chartered shuttles that run at regular intervals directly between the Hyatt Regency San Francisco and the Mission Bay Conference Center (Click here to see the shuttle schedule).

We encourage everyone to book early for the WSDM group discounted rate at $269 per night including complimentary in-room WiFi.

For the discount, bookings must be made on or before January 24, 2016 and is available for dates between February 20-27, 2016.

Other Hotels

Because of the overwhelming interest in WSDM this year, the group rate for the conference hotel has already filled up on some conference days. Those that wish to stay there are encouraged to book now. Furthermore, demand in San Francisco is high that week, with that in mind, we've identified four more hotels that are in similar price ranges that might interest you if you haven't already booked a hotel.

Keep in mind that the shuttles will only run between the conference hotel (the Hyatt Regency) and the venue but there are other public transportation options in San Francisco if you choose to stay at another hotel.
