For an accepted paper to appear in the proceedings, the conference program, and ACM Digital Library, it has to be accompanied by at least one distinct registration, at the “author” rate — there is no virtual registration option for the conference. There are, however, SIGIR registration awards and NSF travel awards available for student authors (therefore, student authors are encouraged to apply to the SIGIR registration award before registering to the conference). Author registration deadline is January 4th 2022.

You will receive two emails to help you prepare the camera-ready versions of your papers. One from with the submission id# and link to submit/upload the final version –and– one from ACM Rightsreview to the lead contact author for the ACM eform to be completed. Please use this link for further instructions on how to prepare and submit the camera-ready version of your contribution (due date January 4th 2022)

All presenters are required to also provide a 10 minutes pre-recorded video. These video presentations will  be available on Whova to all attendees during and after the conference. The videos will also be made available through the ACM Digital Library. Please follow this link for further instructions on how to prepare and submit your video (due date January 27th 2022).

Since, WSDM’22 is an in-person conference, we hope that all papers will be presented in-person during oral and/or poster sessions. For those papers whose authors cannot attend the conference due to COVID-19, we will rely on pre-recorded videos during the conference.

Given that WSDM2022 is a single track conference, we will select a portion of the accepted papers as the oral presentations and others as poster presentations. The oral presentations will be selected by considering the review scores and the topic of the paper. We will also give priority to the authors who can attend the conference in person.
